Titanium 2-bolt flanges are made of titanium plates with pickling surface and great performance. It can ensure a more accurate, leak-proof seal for exhaust components by using exhaust flanges together with exhaust flange gaskets.

SUPRBTI titanium 2-bolt flanges have 8mm (0.315”) / 10mm (0.39”) wall thickness to prevent warping which can work perfectly with our corresponding tubing. 2-bolt exhaust flanges are the perfect way to make the connections on custom exhaust system.

2.Materials

CP2 Titanium (Gr.2) is a pure titanium and is the most widely used titanium alloy in all product forms for industrial service because of moderate strength and excellent corrosion resistance and formability.

compared to the other grades of commercially pure titanium, Grade 2 is slightly weaker than Grade 3, but stronger than Grade 1 and equally resistant to corrosion. Grade 2 offers excellent balance of moderate strength and reasonable ductility. This material is also non-magnetic.

4. Application

5. Process

Titanium pie cuts are precision laser cut from Grade 2 Titanium plates using a CNC machine in a qualified facility to ensure that dimensional tolerance is consistent and free of defects. The toleration of bolt flanges is from 0.08 to 0.05mm. After the cutting process, they will be de-burred and completely cleaned of any imperfections on the cut. They will be inspected for the dimensions and flatness. 2-Bolt Flange features slotted bolt holes to allow for minor adjustments in regard to positioning and installation.

Finally they are pickling to ensure a clean finish and ultrasonically cleaned to provide a ready to weld solution right out of the package.
