1. Introduction

Titanium welded tubing is precision CNC rolled and seam welded from Grade 1 thick wall titanium sheet (1.0mm/1.2mm) for a consistent wall thickness that cannot find with seamless tubing. Then it will be cut to pre-determine lengths for ease of shipping and cleaned before being individual wrapped and packaged to ensure every tube is clean and free of scratches or dents right out of the package.

This ensures a show quality finish that is easy to brush, polish or even leave raw so you don't waste precious time with the most mundane of tasks.

2. Materials

CP1 Titanium (Gr.1) is the first choice for high performance exhaust systems with corrosive resistance, including both wet and dry hot gases.

It is one of the strongest grades of all commercially pure titanium, with extreme strength and toughness with excellent corrosive resistance. It is competitive with stainless steel in regard to corrosive resistance but offers a significantly lighter weight due to the low density of titanium.

The raw materials - Flat - end uncoiling shearing and welding - Welding - loop forming - both inside and outside the weld bead removal pre correction - induction heat treatment, sizing and alignment: eddy current testing - cut - pressure check final inspection, packing, pickling and shipment.
