1.Introduction

Titanium flex bellows help take the strain off of exhaust system by reducing the potential for cracking in turbo manifolds, dump tubes, and downpipes. They feature a slip-fit design that will accommodate the matching titanium tube size to slip into the bellow and be welded in place. Titanium flex bellow can withstand extremely high exhaust gas temperatures thanks to titanium good resistance to effect of heat.

Unlike Stainless Flex Bellows, our Gr.2 Titanium Flex Bellows do not feature a solid inner liner and are not meant to withstand large degrees of axial movement.

2. Materials

CP2 Titanium (Gr.2) is a pure titanium and is the most widely used titanium alloy in all product forms for industrial service because of moderate strength and excellent corrosion resistance and formability.

Compared to the other grades of commercially pure titanium, Grade 2 is slightly weaker than Grade 3, but stronger than Grade 1 and equally resistant to corrosion. Grade 2 offers excellent balance of moderate strength and reasonable ductility. This material is also non-magnetic.
